Not Being Personal
Remember you are just one person, with opinions, tell people about them. You are not some huge news site and a professional writer! A couple tips to help you do this:
1. Include an “about me” page in your blog.
2. Write like you are talking to someone, do not refer to yourself as “we” or anything like that, and be personal.
3. Include photos of vacations, videos, or anything like that to show your readers you have fun, you know.
Not Having Interest in Your Niche
This is a very important thing if you own a blog. You must enjoy the niche you blog about, otherwise it will be very hard to maintain your blog and update it with new content. So when choosing a niche make sure it is something you are passionate about and enjoy writing about. If you have a passion for your niche it will be much easier to run the blog and eventually make money from it!
Not Interacting With Other Bloggers
This can be a huge mistake for anyone who owns a blog. Building relationships online is very important if you own a blog. I mean think about it all you have to do is talk to people. I mean just get a Twitter and follow some people and talk to them. It really is that simple.
Being Lazy!
If you want to succeed in this business you cannot be lazy. The steps on how to do everything from setting up your blog to making money are right in front of you. There is really no reason on why you haven’t started developing your blog.
Keep a business mind set when working on your blog, I know it is hard to do this before you are actually making money. But I am telling you it is all worth it, it feels amazing to wake up every morning and have $100 already waiting for you! So remember, don’t be lazy!
