Ok we all know that to really make money on the internet (big money thatis) you have to think outside the box. There are (you could say) 6 ways to make money online: Affiliate marketing Using PPC or links to get traffic to a product offered by someone else – You benefit by taking a ut of the value.Offering advertising Placing Adsense or banner ads on your site and getting paid by the advertiser either per impression or per click. selling your own product Driving traffic to your site in order to get the visitors to make a purchase from you. CPA Getting your target to enter their details to sign up for a free trial or join a mailing list of some form. PPI Getting paid to convince someone else to install adware on their PC Paid surveys Yes this type of thing does still exist but there are too many fake sites, you could spend years searching for this kind of thing. Anyway, most of everything you will ever read about making money online will come from one of these methods. It has been spun, the original developer has thought outside the box a developed a method to earn money out of the concept, then (unless you found it here) sold it on. Creating your very own, successful money making method is a lot simpler than you might imagine, all you need is a plan and I will share with you my own processes in creating lucrative methods. Others might do it different and I certainly wouldn’t think they are wrong, but my own process works very well for me. Here is the process in full: Find your target Research their needs Find their ideal product Market the product Fulfil their needs Cover your tracks Close the deal Test on a small scale Refine the process Re-test, refine, re-test, refine until you get the required results Outsource Document Find your target A lot of people look at the offer and try to figure out who would be tempted to take you up on it. In my humble opinion this is a perverted way to go about it. Have a look through your inbox, is there a certain demographic that constantly contact you? Are you part of any groups? (including blackhat of course). Are you part of any mailing lists, newsgroups, forums, social networks or chatrooms? Do you socialise with any specific groups? Or play online games? All of these are potential targets and finding them is step one on the process. As an example Facebook has millions of unsigned musicians. Research their needs Hit the forums, jump in the chat rooms, check out Yahoo answers. Talk to people and see what they need (needs are better than wants) as an example, a dog breeder wants pet insurance, but needs dog food. Find their ideal product Whatever their need, there will always be ways to find it, be it a CPA offer, an affiliate product or a retailer you can JV with. If it’s suited to CPA offers then sign up for a free account at Offer Vault and find offers that are suited. If it’s more suited to affiliate offers then find somewhere that sells the product (ebay or amazon if necessary but as a last resort) just search for the product on Google, hit a good looking website that has the product and look for a “Webmasters” or “affiliates” link towards the bottom of the page. It may well be that the product you are after is a very specific one and doesn’t have an affiliate program. Well that’s not necessarily the end of the process. Email the sales department (or webmaster if the product is an online information type product) and ask them if they would be interested in them marketing their product to your extensive list (non existent of course) of targeted members. If it interests them then negotiate a discount for your members, as an example, if you can get a 50% discount, you can market it a full price and keep the extra 50%. Once you have your market and your product you are well on your way. Market the product Once you have the product to market, you need a means in which to do so. There are hundreds of things you can do to market your products/offers. You can post advertisements, comment on blogs, post to forums, PPC or just about anything. There are hundreds of methods on BHW and thousands of spins on them. Make sure that the method suits the subject. Posting on forums is a great method on some offers, but it’s shit on others (like ewhoring) and it’s the same with everything, some things are suited, others are not. There is no one method that works in all cases, and you might need to swap medium until you get a converting one. Fulfil their needs Now you have the product and know how to promote it you needs the means to provide it. You might want to build a website or just simply create a doorway that redirects to your affiliate offer. One thing you don’t want to do is direct your traffic straight from your CL ad or adwords ad to your affiliate link, this is a surefire way of getting banned, especially if you use blackhat techniques. If you build a website then you have the option of iframing the offer directly onto your site. Many networks won’t mind iframing as long as it’s clear what the offer is. Whatever you do, don’t make this part of the process seem amateur, attention to detail is something I always suggest, it will increase your sales significantly just spending half an hour sprucing it up. Cover your tracks This is a vital aspect to your internet marketing success. If you don’t fully protect yourself then you will get banned fairly often (even if you are mostly whitehat). You are going to want to fake your referers (or blank them) or do a double meta refresh in order to not show your affiliate managers where you are getting your traffic. If they start asking where your traffic is coming from you can try telling them that you have had bad experiences in the past with managers stealing your methods, this is a valid reason not to tell them but some of them might want to push it further and if they do, just say it’s a mixture of list marketing and banner ads, decline if they ask you to show them. As you might be aware, much of your traffic is going to convert in most circumstances and you need to be aware that you should try to keep your conversion rates down to around 2-5% so you are going to need to throw some cheap non-converting traffic at it. Have a search, there are many many traffic sellers, more than you could possibly use. I would sincerely suggest you don’t use a URL shortener, they honestly look shit and you need your offer to look completely legit, so don’t go using tinyurl, it’s a shockingly bad idea, full of scammers, spyware and trojans. Close the deal Hopefullly your lead up to this point should ensure that you need no interaction here to get your traffic to convert, the site should do all your selling for you, any possible question that the buyer might have should be answered in full in the form of content, or they should be pre-sold via PM, posting or email. Make sure that if you have a site up and running that you have tested the sign-up process. Test on a small scale What you have done up to now will in all honesty, not be the perfect method. You now need to test it. Run it for a few days noting your click through rate, conversion rate, if you have multiple pages then find out where you are losing the majority of traffic. Refine the process Once you have tracked your stats for a few days it’s time to make changes, refining the process, change up your ad or your landing page and keep tracking the stats, note down any positive changes to them. Re-test, refine, re-test, refine until you get the required results Keep on making changes and tracking the stats until you run out of ideas, always keeping changes if they positively affect any stat. This process will help you get the best returns possible. If you can, get someone to review it for you, there might be things you can’t (or won’t) see and an independent view on it can really help. Outsource All the time you have taken to get your method earning can now be considered time well spent. Outsouce and automate as much as you possibly can, do as little actual work as possible to keep the method moving while you move onto the next. You can outsource to BHW, DP, getafreelancer, just about any marketing/advertising community you can think of has a forum with a BST section. Post your requirements and wait for the replies. Ask for samples of their work to check their grammar, run it through copyscape or cut some snippets from it and Google them to see if they have just copy/pasted it from existing content. When you find someone who can do a job for you, be sure to check the work they do prior to first payment, whether you then want to swap to up-front payments is your call but keep checking their work to make sure they are not being lazy. Pay them on time and build up a business relationship with them. Let them know that providing the quality is maintained, the work will be a constant long term offer. Document There are two reasons for documenting your work. Firstly you might want to retrn a few step and further refine something which didn’t quite work out at the previous attempt. Documenting it all will ensure that if you screw up somewhere along the line, you can easily replicate your successful stages and figure out what went wrong. The second reason to document it might be if you want to sell the method. If you do want to sell the method then make sure that your method is complete and leave othing open to interpretation. Always understand that there will be newbies reading it and as such it needs to be as clear as possible. Don’t fake your earnings, be honest and be open for support.
